Restructuring the gardens at the Fotheringham House has been a continual process during the last five years. Today, the back gardens include a fountain and birdbath, arbors, and a bee and butterfly garden which includes manarda, columbine, lupine, foxglove, and blue mist spirea. A sun garden near the dining room porch includes iris, campanula, salvia, coral bells, lamium, and a shade garden under the spruce tree boasts hostas, bleeding heart, and astilbe.
